Dorene Warner creative directorDorene Warner

Warner is directly involved with all creative and client service aspects of each project, and maintains the character and quality of the work produced by W Design.

Schooled at The Cleveland Institute of Art and The Cleveland Art Museum prior to earning a BFA at Syracuse University’s School of Visual and Performing Arts. Warner continuously advances her knowledge of the design industry by taking courses at Pratt Institute's School of Art & Design in New York City, for video animation and website design.

Warner began her career with Chase Manhattan Bank’s Corporate Communications department. After four years of working onsite designing logos and brochures for internal communications, large scale exhibits to celebrate diversity and heritage months, and developing the corporate identity guidelines for the then newly merged Chemical and Chase Manhattan Banks, the relationship between Warner and Chase evolved from in-house senior designer to client of Wdesign. Thus bringing Chase Manhattan Bank into the midst of a growing list of other financial institution clients, AXA Financial, Global Securities, and Lord Securities, along with real estate corporations Douglas Elliman, the Milstein Brothers, and Alchemy Properties. Although Warner continues to work with Fortune 500 companies, she specializes in helping newly formed small businesses to develop a visual identity and marketing plan to match their target audience.

Warner was a partner for two years at HireDisabilty, a company focusing on creating national job fairs and online access to job searches for the disability community, resulting in an alliance with the New York Times’ job fairs. She is a founding member of the Greater Barryville Chamber of Commerce, a co-founder of the acclaimed annual PumkinFest and continues her involvement with fundraising and designing logos, brochures, banners and advertisement for other Chamber events. In 2007, Warner was awarded Volunteer of the Year on behalf of the Chamber.
